An art exhibition shown at City Hall, opened during Pride week in Reykjavík 2015.
Normskörungar is a collaboration project between the illustrator Alda Lilja and the photographer Alda Villiljós.

The project seeks to show individuals who break norms and society’s rules in some way, with focus on the queer (lgbtq+) community.

The norm here is the dream to fit into a capitalist society with a nuclear family and stability. This dream isn’t and doesn’t have to be for everyone. We can’t all fit into the same box anyway!
